Reviewing and actioning proofs of service/non-service

What to do when your "proof needs review"

After a service order requiring proof of service has been completed, its status on any order view page will temporarily change to a yellow hue.

Depending on whether or not the serve was successful, one of two statuses will display:

  • Proof of Service Needs Review

  • Proof of Non-Service Needs Review

In each case, you will need to review and either approve or request changes to the proof of service before the order can move to the next stage.

Reviewing your proof

To launch the review process, click the blue Review action button in the right column of the order entry. This will launch a review screen that allows you to reference your proof document on the left and request actions in the right column.

Taking action on your proof

If you choose Approve, the order will be marked complete and the completed proof of service/non-service will be saved in the documents widget on the Order Details screen for future reference. If you are integrated with your primary legal software, a finalized copy of the document will also sync to your matter/case/project.

If you choose Request Changes, you will be prompted to add details to your request.

Type in your requested changes and hit the Submit button to request a revision to your proof.
