Note

The setup process described in this article applies only to courts using the eFileCA, eFileGA, eFileIL, eFileIN, eFileTexas, eFileMD and eFileNV court filing systems.

Firms that plan to eFile in Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Texas, Nevada, and some California and Georgia courts must connect each InfoTrack user to the court's back-end court filing system before they can submit a filing. Typically, this extra setup only needs to be undertaken once.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Start a filing workflow

Log into your InfoTrack account and select the state in which you wish to file.

Then, click any court filing action button (Start new case or File to existing case).

Step 2: Log in if prompted

If you have an existing EFM account

If you have used the Odyssey portal or have used another certified eFiling service provider to eFile in this state before, then you can log in with those same credentials.

If you're not sure if you have an existing EFM account

If you are not sure if you have an existing account or if InfoTrack does not accept your email and password combination, we recommend that you use the Forgot Password link to attempt to access your credentials.

This will either provide you with a new reset password link by email or confirm that you do not yet have an account.

Step 3 (if needed): Create an account

If you don't have an existing EFM account

Return to the EFM login screen. If you are on the Reset Password screen, you can do this by clicking Cancel.

At the bottom of the EFM login screen, click Create Account.

Select Firm Admin and enter in your details to create a new account with the state EFM.

This will connect your InfoTrack user account with an account registered with the court's backend system, creating an additional layer of verification for your filings.

Note: If you think your firm may already have an EFM account, please ask your firm administrator to add you as a user instead of creating a whole new account. Duplicate accounts on the EFM can lead to technical issues when filing.

Once you have connected your InfoTrack user to any state EFM systems you intend to file on (eFileCA, eFileGA, eFileIL, eFileIN, eFileMD, eFileTexas, eFileNV, etc.), you can begin placing eFiling orders through the InfoTrack integration.
