After you've submitted a process serving order, you'll be taken to the Order Details page. This is your hub for monitoring the progress of this order and any subsequent actions that must be taken after it is submitted.

We'll begin with a tour of this page's elements, starting form the top of the screen and working left to right.

Party to serve tabs

At the very top of your screen, you'll see the name of each party to serve listed in tab format. The active tab is indicated in blue.

Any information represented on the rest of this screen will be pertinent to the actively selected party to serve. If, as in this example, if you have three service recipients in different service locations, they will each have their own order activities timeline, actions, key documents and other order details.

Click on any name to toggle to a different party.

Progress bar

Immediately below the party tabs, you'll see a progress bar showing which stage your serve order is at for this party.

Stages that have not yet been completed will display a gray, empty circle.

Stages that have been completed will display a blue checkmark.

Finally, the stage your order is currently at will be denoted by a circle with a blue dot inside of it.

Order activities timeline

On the left column of the Order Details page, you'll find a timeline of order activities for this party. Here you'll see a log of any service attempts, messages from your process server, and the return of proof-of-service documents when they become available.

You can use the Activity type drop-down to filter this list to only certain activities, such as messages from your server or service attempts.

Look to the action buttons at the the top of this widget to launch tasks that can help you move the order forward. Contact agency is always available to message your serving agency, while other buttons will appear when the action becomes available based on the progress of your order.

For example, in the earliest stages of your order (before attempts have been made), a button may appear here allowing you to cancel your order.

When an affidavit is returned, clicking Review proof will bring you to a special screen where you may approve the proof-of-service or request specified changes.

Latest activity / past activities

At the very top of this timeline, you'll see the most recent activity on the order. Order activities below it descend further into the past, from most recent to least recent.

Documents widget

At the top of the right-hand column, you can review any documents associated with your order. These documents are categorized into three separate tabs.

Servable documents

These are documents you included with your order for service. At the earliest stages of your order, you may have the option to add more such documents on-the-fly. However, adding more documents may impact your total charges.

Supporting documents

These are any documents you've uploaded to assist the server in completing the job—such as photos, maps, or additional descriptive materials. Adding new documents here will not impact your total charges.

Proofs of service

After a document has been served, this is where you will find the proof of service (a.k.a. affidavit) for your records. You may view proofs here, or formally review and approve them using the action button on the Order Activities timeline.

In some jurisdictions such as California, InfoTrack can automatically file the proof of service for you as soon as you approve it.

Serve details widget

At the bottom of the right-hand column, you'll find basic details about the party to serve, the serving agency, and other aspects of your order split into three tabs.

Party to serve

Check the basic details for your serve, including the recipient and full service address.

Agency information

Reference the name, location and contact information for your agency, including a phone number (if provided).

General information

Here you'll find key information related to your serve, including the serve's order ID and due date and the case number and court of the related case.

Locating your order

If you leave the Order Details page at any time, you can return to it by clicking the View button on any process serving order in the Matter view or All Orders view.
