Customers frequently run into issues when attempting to upload their documents, when the file size is too large.
When this happens, we advise that it is best to take steps to reduce the size of their documents to meet the file size limit set by the court’s policies and procedure InfoTrack has made available a blog post, "Six Ways to Reduce the Size of a PDF", as a guide to assist our customers with doing just that. They should attempt to follow these steps to see if they are able to reduce the document size to be acceptable with the court’s limits.
If they have attempted to reduce, but the filing is still too large because of the exhibits in the filing document, the workaround is to upload the exhibits individually and include a face page on each one. As we are unable to advise if the clerk will accept the documents in this way, it is always a best practice that they confirm with the clerk before doing so, to help reduce the chances of the filing being rejected.
